You have never had any authority over us since the beginning. We have been in this position through our own choice, and always had the ability to leave it. If your eyes are so clouded that you could not see what was right in front of you then I don't believe you have the capacity to hold authority over anyone. Delusion is rather unbecoming in a ruler, you see.

If you are to survive this through the will of those you have wronged, then I would hope you are able to view the world with unclouded eyes. If you could feel the suffering of others, perhaps you would not be so ready to inflict it. I could be satisfied with that much.
