[ECHIDNA]

[when you open your eyes, you find yourself in a pleasant greenhouse. the sweet scent of flowers surrounds you, and the sun shining through the glass ceiling invigorates you from within. there are stone benches on which you can sit, and if you're hungry, there's a garden table with some refreshing tea and scones available to you]

[the voice– the good voice– echoes in your head again]

YOUR DESIRES. . . CREATED THIS REALM. IT IS YOURS. . . IT IS NOT TYPHON'S! I CAN USE THOSE DESIRES TO GIVE YOU A SAFE PLACE. . . FROM WHICH TO FIGHT.

BUT I CANNOT DEFEAT HIM. . . ONLY YOU CAN. ONLY YOU– WITH YOUR OWN DESIRES!! YOU CAN. . . RESHAPE THIS WORLD. . . HOWEVER YOU'D LIKE!

[pats one of her big chicken thighs]

A tantrum more suited to a child than the father of monsters. I quite like that, actually. Does a child deserve to have any authority over anyone?

Perhaps because he thought it to be an agreed upon authority. But even then, we weren't working for him.

maybe, it is better for him to start over, as you said? "A child." It may be better than having him continue to carry on like this.

Mm...

[taps her chin]

It would be better to remove him altogether. Unless someone is willing to raise him properly, he'll just turn out the same all over again. But perhaps Echidna would be willing?
amalgameat: (got a language of its own.)

if you were already divorced, would you want to raise your ex-husband?

i do not think everyone would be unwilling, though. i would try.

It isn't something I would want to put on your shoulders if we can help it. An ex-wife can take some responsibility, surely.

[she just likes bullying Fran sorry. SHE PROBABLY DOESN'T MEAN IT, IT'S FINE]
amalgameat: (but will it ever be enough?)

perhaps, shared responsibility.

i do not want to be pulled back into another prison later because Echidna is angry at how things turned out, i think? i have had quite enough of this one, although the people here have been very nice.
