Rather than Fran being in charge, it seemed to me that we simply helped to addressed the needs of the people who live here. But if we're settling a matter of authority, would it be proper to say that Fran has always been a more direct supervisor?

You may have brought us together, but you never had any authority over us. We decided on our own what it meant to assist the other blocks. We decided on our own that because we had the capability to help them...it meant that we had a Responsibility to do. You thought your power over us, over your children, meant you could do whatever you wanted with us - you never thought that your power or your position as their father might mean you had a responsibility to them! Did you ever think to ask your children if they would want to exist at the cost of someone else? Did you think about how only having physical form as a result of all of your lies and bloodshed might make them feel?!

You....you have a responsibility to your children, just like we did to the other blocks! You have a responsibility to Fran! Everything you've been doing up to this point - it's just been you trying to abdicate that responsibility to them and trying to take the easy way out! If you're the loving father you claim to be....!

but i don't want you to die. dying is a waste. you don't fix any problems when you're dead. i know this.
you should return to an egg, i think. begin your life anew as something small and weak. start over and remember something of what you were, but also learn what it's like to be on our level; to see from our perspective. see other worlds; meet other people. learn how to help, not just to hurt. meet kind people and unkind people, and see who they are instead of just what they are. when you've returned to your fullness and your strength, far in the future, i bet things will look very different from the way they do now.
i don't offer to be your mother or your wife, because yikes. but i don't mind accompanying and helping you on a new journey, either. we could both use a friend, i think. most people would like this place to become the start of a journey and a place of many doors to new places and known places; i'm one of them.

...You have hurt the people that I love with no remorse, so I am not inclined to offer you a second chance. But that is mere emotion on my part, and I am willing to set it aside for this task.
If you are to survive this through the will of those you have wronged, then I would hope you are able to view the world with unclouded eyes. If you could feel the suffering of others, perhaps you would not be so ready to inflict it. I could be satisfied with that much.
